Comments: The CNG version of the Doblo can run on either gasoline or natural gas. The van uses gasoline to start the engine, but automatically switches to CNG after starting. The driver can switch back to gasoline at any time if necessary. Running on CNG gives 92 hp and 130 Nm of torque and gasoline gives 103 hp and 145 Nm.

Comments: The Punto was voted the Best Environmental Car in Sweden in 2005. Its power output is 52 hp, which enables a top speed of 145 km/h (90 mph), and can go from 0 – 100 km/h (0 – 62 mph) in 19 seconds when running on CNG. It can run on either CNG or gasoline, allowing the driver to switch between the two fuels. There is also a sensor that will automatically switch to gasoline when the CNG tank is about to run out of fuel.

Comments: computer automatically senses when a different fuel would be more economical (e.g. hill requiring extra torque or acceleration). It automatically switches back to CNG when the computer determines that it once again is the appropriate fuel. It will also switch to gasoline/ethanol when the natural gas pressure drops below 150 psi.
