2011: The Year in Foreign Oil

It’s important to pause and reflect on why we need such a drastic shift in U.S. energy policy in the first place, and that starts with one simple question: How much money do we spend on foreign oil?

The MPG of an NGV

What fascinates me the most is the number one question I’m asked: “what kind of gas mileage do you get?” It’s an interesting question because CNG is a gas and therefore there’s no such thing as a gallon of it. That’s hard to explain while screaming out a car window.

Moreover, they’re a great way to acclimate the general public to an NGV. We’re not talking about some back-alley spaceship here - NGVs are real and almost identical to the gasoline-powered car you’re already driving.
